What to Expect

What is LJBC like?

You will find that we are a friendly church that invites you to come as you are. We strive to center our worship service around genuine worship and biblical teaching and preaching, believing truth is found in God’s Word. Our worship is a blended style with a mixture of contemporary worship songs and hymns led by our Worship Team.

What is the order of service?

Our worship service begins at 10am and has a duration of approximately an hour and 20 minutes. Children 5 years old and under can be dropped off to a class before the service begins. For everyone's protection, all of our volunteers that work with children complete a background screening. Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade remain in the sanctuary for our worship service and are dismissed to SuperCHURCH during the sermon to receive a Bible lesson prepared for their level of understanding. This is a parental decision of course and new parents are welcome to visit SuperCHURCH if they desire. A typical service starts with announcements followed by three to four songs, the sermon and a final song. Following the service, we ask that parents diligently pick-up their kids from class.

What about my kids?

We have a place for children of all ages and believe it is both a responsibility and a blessing to teach our children the truth of God’s Word.
